Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing our website, using our services or purchasing from AEQLO, you agree to these terms.

Who We Are & Applicability

AEQLO is a registered trade name of a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) established in the Netherlands, also trading as Ramu Commerce, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 87733854 and holding VAT number NL004464884B16.

These Terms & Conditions apply to your access to and use of the AEQLO website, online store, products and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By visiting our website, using the Services or placing an order with AEQLO, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer protection law.

Eligibility & Account Information

By using the Services, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement or, where required, have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

When placing an order or creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, including your contact, billing and shipping details.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account.

Product Information

AEQLO aims to present product information as accurately as reasonably possible, including descriptions, photographs, colours, materials, sizing, prices and availability.

The appearance and colour of products may vary slightly depending on your device, display settings, lighting conditions and other factors. Minor variations may also occur as a result of materials and production processes.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product does not conform to the agreement.

Orders

By submitting an order through our website, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email.

We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of stock unavailability, payment problems, obvious pricing or product information errors, suspected fraud or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

If you need to change or cancel an order after placing it, contact us as soon as possible at info@aeqlo.com. Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, changes may no longer be possible. This does not affect any statutory withdrawal rights that apply to your purchase.

Prices & Payment

All prices shown to consumers are inclusive of applicable VAT and are displayed in the currency shown on our website or during checkout. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and authorise the applicable payment provider to process the amount due for your order.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed and delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy. AEQLO uses international fulfilment partners, and orders are dispatched from our fulfilment facility in China.

Delivery times shown on our website or communicated after purchase are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise and may be affected by carrier delays, customs procedures, public holidays, adverse weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Returns are processed through our fulfilment facility in China, and the return address will be provided once a return request has been accepted.

AEQLO offers eligible items a 30-day return window, subject to the conditions set out in our Refund Policy. This commercial return policy does not restrict mandatory statutory consumer rights.

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to applicable exceptions.

This statutory right exists independently of AEQLO's 30-day return window. Full details, including how to exercise the right and the model withdrawal form, are set out in our Refund Policy.

Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to restrict any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content available through AEQLO, including our name, logos, branding, product names, designs, photographs, graphics, videos, text, website design and other materials, is owned by or licensed to AEQLO and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Without our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or create derivative works from our content, branding or other intellectual property.

Acceptable Use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations;
Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, accounts, systems or networks;
Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful technology;
Interfere with the operation or security of the Services; or
Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of AEQLO or any third party.

Third-Party Services & Links

Our website may contain or integrate payment providers, tracking services, applications, social media features or links operated by third parties.

AEQLO does not control independent third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, terms, policies or practices.

Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform and infrastructure that enables us to offer our products and Services online.

While Shopify provides the underlying platform, your purchase of AEQLO products is made from AEQLO and not from Shopify.

Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how and why it is processed, when it may be shared and the rights available to you.

Reviews & User Content

If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions or other content to AEQLO, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide that content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

Where permitted by law and subject to any terms presented when the content is submitted, you grant AEQLO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for purposes connected with operating, improving and promoting our products and Services.

Errors & Inaccuracies

Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability or other information.

We may correct such errors and update information where reasonably necessary and permitted by law. If a material correction affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate.

Website Availability

We aim to keep our website and Services available, secure and functioning correctly. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times. We may temporarily suspend, restrict, update or modify parts of the Services for maintenance, security, technical, operational or legal reasons.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or would restrict rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AEQLO will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was entered into.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AEQLO will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, strikes, governmental measures or technical infrastructure failures. Where such circumstances affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Services where you materially breach these Terms & Conditions, misuse the Services, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or where we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary under applicable law. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and any other terms or policies expressly referenced on our website, form the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases from AEQLO.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at info@aeqlo.com so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly. We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.

Alternative dispute resolution: If we cannot resolve your complaint together, EU consumers can find the competent dispute resolution body in their country through the European Commission's Consumer Redress portal at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. Any unresolved dispute may also be submitted to a competent court in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, legal requirements or other operational reasons. The latest version will be made available on our website and, where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
